Estrada Real follows the famous Brazilian route that passes through towns still preserving their Baroque architecture. I get to walk 153 kilometres with access to some pretty images through the app and post cards. The important part is this… the medal is seriously pretty. I haven’t coveted a medal this way since the very first challenge: Mount Fuji.
Why this medal? Is it the gold accents? The little gem glittering in the Conqueror logo? The textured background? The toucan that makes me think of Guinness, Fruit loops, and my first trip to Costa Rica, all at the same time? I couldn’t tell you, but I want this one a great deal. It took me far too long to complete it: I can’t let winter get in the way of my walking any more, being trapped inside reduces my movement far too much.
